The power of the human voice has the ability to change the world, but it is difficult to know how to get the attention of others. Being a good listeners we could become the world in a better environment to live.

Following this line, if we want  to be powerful about our speech, we need to make a change in the words and the ways that we speak; our personalities should be involved with the word HAIL, which means: honesty, authenticity, integrity and love. Just involving with these characteristics we will get the attention of others, otherwise it could be very difficult to achieve our goal of getting the attention.

Comment:

I am pretty sure about the idea of the video. The attitude that people take according to their lifes is important because being positive  is a good way to achieve your goals. My favourite phrase about what the speaker says is: "Ask yourself: are you satisfied with what do you have to do". The meaning of it is very important to me because it makes me think about the way that my life is taking in accordance with my decisions. We should trust ourselves, but we should think about the consequences of our decisions too.

Next I’m going to explain Adam’s tips to improve pronunciation and sound like a native speaker. Remember the most important thing to improve pronunciation is practicing.

-          Connect words:
He explains when there are two words and the first one ends in a consonant and the follow word begins with the same consonant, they don’t pronounce the last consonant of the first one, for example:

“black coffee”, he doesn’t read the whole word: bla”ck” - “c”offee.
He reads: “bla” coffee, the last consonant of the first word doesn’t sound.

-          Squeeze words:
Sometimes native speakers don’t pronounce all syllables; they only do it to emphasis the word. Besides when the first word ends consonant and the second one begin with vowel, they separate the consonant and pronounce it with the second word, for example:

-          Squeeze letters:
They neither pronounce some letters like "tr" it sounds like "chr" and "dr" it sounds like "jr".

By the way, the video he mentions is about "Phonetics", it means the sound of the syllables in the word. So if you know how to pronounce the syllable you will know how to pronounce the whole word.

For example "lock" and "luck" have completely different meanings. They have no relationship to each other except that they share three similar letters, so both have similar pronunciation.
We have to use the "phonetic symbol", which you will find in English dictionary, because it include the "phonetic spelling" that means they spell the word according to its sound.
