Jacky's post

For an Upper Intermediate student would be a little bit easier to differenciate phonemes, the union among them due to the experiences they have been through; those levels they have passed until they got to Upper Intermediate and the different kind of knowledge will make students will make be able to pronunciate properly and listen correctly.

Moreover, it's not enough with the daily classes it's about how much interest they have about the topics they are learning and look up for more getting, thus, more vocabulary.

One way of  learning how to differenciate some words is listening to music and of course, in english, so that if they have doubt about one word of the lyrics, they search it; also they are larning vocabulary.

All this, the ability of knowing which consonant is depends entirely on the student; practising, asking if they have doubts so that they are clear.

  1. You are right Jacky. As an upper intermediate student you can probably notice the difference better. Have you got any tips about phonetics?
