Pronunciation
Actually, Upper Intermediate students from UDEP, know a lot of vocabulary and grammar, but the pronunciation of each one depends in first place for the teacher, because in this university all the teachers, regardless of the level worry about your pronunciation and phonetics because they want to be the best student and talking with another person from other country without problems.
Furthermore teachers, also from Upper Intermediate focus on your pronunciation at all, they practice with you with some exersice, also they repeat the words three or four time all the words that everyone have in th book, one by one.
In this level teachers try to make us speak, in all the class, due to they wnat to practice your speaking and listen your pronunciation or if you have some mistake to correct them.

Apparently what you mean is tha the way you pronounce has been acquired just because of listening and repeating and some teacher correction.
