juan mario the best student

An upper intermediate student must know about phonetics and pronunciaton, the student must know how to differenciate the consonants, like /d/ form /t/. in their pronunciation, becouse is really similar so the student must be familiar with the difference. the upper intermediate student must know about phonetics because for example and elementary student who listen the words "drain" and "train" stay like: "is not the same word?", and an upper student who must know how to differenciate this two words would said: "no, one is for a series of connected railroad cars pulled or pushed by one or more locomotives and the other one is for drawing off (a liquid) by a gradual process, it`s not the same".
Well the upper intermediate student must have more time of practicing than the other ones, maybe by listening music or practicing with the exercise that was gived to him for practicing.

The upper intermediate student with all the practice he must have done, is able to speak and listen to the difficult ones (phonetics) and also is able to correct or teach how to differenciate the phonetics as he does.
And finally the upper intermediate student with all the process he had made with practicing the student one day will be perfect at differentiate pronunciation and phonetics, becouse "process makes perfect".
